Children need chances each day to explore open-ended materials that allow them to use their creativity, imagination, and initiative.
Natural materials provide a wealth of possibilities for these kinds of explorations, and children learn much about the natural cycles of life as the materials weather and change with the seasons. The precious gift of nature is a profoundly needed influence for today's children.
Marbles Farm children are empowered to find materials in nature to support their interests and creativity.
We just completed an engaging and inspiring Nature Explore educators workshop. It was superb! We were well educated about utilizing outdoor classrooms. We also engaged in some creative art experiences, inspired by nature, which were designed to help children make deeper connections with the world around them. We learned about new methods to observe, record and assess children's learning with nature. The day was an exceptional learning experience for cultivating a more joyful approach to teaching in outdoor classrooms.
Marbles Farm teachers delight in experiencing the natural world and understanding the rich learning that can take place in natural outdoor spaces and how it will directly aid children's healthy growth and development. Their enthusiasm will positively inspire your children.
Fall of 2018 is just around the corner.
